Divided in two areas, the Lowlands and the Highlands with great cities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow. The scenery is unforgettable with lakes (lochs), some of the highest peaks in the British Isles and rolling hills and moors - covered with heather. these are great places to explore on foot and by car although there is good bus and rail service. In the summer Scotland comes alive with its renown art and music festivals bringing people from all over the world. If you golf, Scotland was created for you.

Edinburgh offers many cultural activities such as Theater, Music and traditional Scottish musical evenings. The Scottish Experience and Living Craft Center have Scottish evenings, with traditional food, song and dance as do the Jamie's Scottish Evening and the Carlton Highland hotel. Each summer, usually during August there is the great Military Tattoo and the Edinburgh Film Festival and festival Fringe and International Festival are just some of the many artistic events that brought Edinburgh to the forefront.

Don't miss Edinburgh Castle - a fortress that is at the very heart of Scottish history. A remarkable fortress with many stories to tell.We would be happy to lay out a walking tour of the city, but a private city guide is available should you wish for one. Other highlights are Mary, Queen of Scots' Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Royal Museum of Scotland and the Old Town. The Royal botanic Gardens rival London's Kew Gardens; the visit is free and there are an immense 70 acres to explore. The Edinburgh ZOO is another top attraction, especially for children.
